David Livingston

Lead Pastor

David is the lead and founding pastor. David and Steffi Livingston and their family moved to Ann Arbor in 2022 with a vision start a new church in town dedicated to cultivating authentic followers of Jesus. Their vision and prayer is to see Jesus become a non-ignorable reality in our city, with ripple effects to the ends of the earth. They have been married for twelve years and enjoy life with their three Children: Silas, Indi and Story. David holds a Masters of Theological Studies degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His youtube and weekends are usually filled with architecture, cars and climbing.

Laura Hager

Director of Community Life

Laura is the Community Ministry Director. She oversees connection groups, Sunday serve teams, and community ministry at Treeline. She grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and went to Salt Company during her time at Iowa State University. She holds a Masters degree in Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has worked in ministry for 11 years. Laura loves being a wife to Andrew and mom to Lydia. Together with her family she enjoys going on walks, reading books, and going to concerts, live music, and sporting events.

Austin Smith

Director of Worship & Arts

Austin is the Director of Worship & Arts. He gives primary leadership to the Worship & Tech teams at Treeline and preaches on occasion. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. During that time, he worked as an intern in the college ministry of First Baptist Denton. He then went on to study at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, where he received a Masters of Theological Studies with a concentration in Church Planting. Austin is married to Janelle and they love their little boy named Beckett. He loves playing/writing music and is our team's resident expert on all things Texas.

Andrew Hager

Director of The Salt Company

Andrew is the Salt Company Director. He oversees the college staff and ministry, and preaches at Salt and Treeline. Andrew has worked in ministry for six years at churches in the Salt Network after being a student in the Salt Company himself. He received his masters degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. Andrew is married to his best friend Laura, and they adore their baby girl, Lydia. He is energized by intense workouts, long books, and trips to big cities.

Sophie Covalle

Salt Company Ministry Leader

Sophie serves as a Ministry Lead for the Salt Company. She spends her time caring for the women and leaders of Salt and organizing the behind the scenes logistics. Sophie received her bachelor’s in Movement Science from the University of Michigan. She attended Salt Company during her junior year and served as a Salt intern during her senior year. Sophie is excited to give back to the ministry the Lord used to change her life! Sophie was born in Michigan and feels most at home on a freshwater lake with a LaCroix in her hand and a good book. She is grateful to be close to home, and spends as much time as possible with her family.

Elley Sabino

Salt Company Ministry Leader

Elley serves as one of the Ministry Leads at Salt Company. She primarily equips and shapes our student leaders, disciples the women of Salt Company, and oversees our global connections. Elley received her bachelor's degree in Nursing at the University of Florida and spent two years working in the ICU. Elley grew up with parents that modeled a life of church planting, which instilled a passion within her as well. She spent her college years attending Salt Company at University of Florida, and there cultivated a deep love for discipleship and equipping college students. Elley loves exploring all that Michigan has to offer, dashing home to Florida to see her beloved family, and delights in exercise and the outdoors!

Austen Bloembergen

Salt Company Intern

Austen serves as a part time Salt Company Intern. He is dedicated to equipping the men and leaders of Salt while helping new students get plugged in and feel at home. Austen is currently finishing his bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He attended Salt Company as a Junior and Senior before deciding to spend one final semester serving on Salt Staff. Austen grew up in Okemos, Michigan and is the youngest of four brothers. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, he enjoys skiing in the winter and spending time on the lake wakeboarding and wake surfing in the summer.
