Spring 2026

Dig Deep Roots

In a world that moves fast and stays shallow, God invites us to slow down and grow deep. This year, let's step into daily disciplines that shape us into a church deeply rooted in Christ.

Master the Restart

Life gets busy -- it is far better to master the restart than master the plan. This means pick up where you left off rather than trying to catch up. (Add something here)

How it Works

read

Commit to a Bible reading plan that fits your pace. We will all be reading through the Old  Testament plan. Choose one of the New Testament plans to add if/when you're ready.

  • Old Testament (OT)
  • New Testament (NT)

We recommend you watch The Bible Project video for each book.

Memorize

Commit to memorizing scripture each week. To help, try reading the verse out loud 10 times, use memory acronyms, notecards or set it as your phone lock screen. Review all past verses so they stay rooted in your memory.

Getting Started

Bible Reading

The Goal is to read through the whole NT every four months and the whole OT every 2 years. The focus of this plan is reading Scripture - so just keep going, don't feel the need to slow down.

Watch the Bible Project Videos for Each Book before reading the book.

  • Get a Study Bible and Read all the Notes - CSB Study Bible or ESV Study Bible are great
  • Listening to an Audio Bible totally counts!

Scripture Memory

Memorize 1 Key Verse(s) Each Week, typically from the NT Book you are reading

  • To help memorize: Daily Repetition works better then cramming... read it out loud everyday 10x, Review 1x through all past week's verses
Use Verse Reminders - A Notecard, a rubber band with the 1st letter of each word, or a lock screen.
  • Use Verse Reminders - A Notecard, a rubber band with the 1st letter of each word, or a lock screen.

Spiritual Rhythms

Use your MORNING to get a great start. Focus on reading and Bible memory with a brief time of prayer. Throughout the day, pause to pray, use podcast/Audio Bible to fill you mind with truth. Do quick verse review.
